Bourbon and Music

I like to pour myself 2 fingers of Booker's and and let the vinyl sing. You too? I'm sure I am not the only one. There's something about pouring your favorite bourbon, settling into your worn corner of the couch, and letting an old record whirl! Not every night perhaps, not even every pour of bourbon, but every so often, it's a great way to unwind. Grab that special bottle, blow the dust off that perfect album and treat your senses to a good time.

Tonight I grabbed the Big Man Small Batch and paired it with the dulcet tones of Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit. It's a combo I highly recommend. Neither are for the faint of heart, both come at you straight and unfiltered, and after a few spins with either one, I'm singing my ass off!

What are some of your favorite albums to pop on while you're getting deep into a pour? A few other selections for me are Jim Croce, Elton John, Sturgill Simpson, The White Stripes, or The Beach Boys: Pet Sounds (severely underrated as Rolling Stones 2nd greatest album of all time).

Can't wait to hear what your go to is! Comment below!
